30 weeks and counting...

I am officially 30 weeks pregnant. This is my 3rd baby so I'm no stranger to being pregnant, although all my pregnancies have been very different. Oddly enough they are all boys so there goes the old wives tales regarding gender and different pregnancies right?!!

I am feeling heavier, but I am lucky...so far I've only gained 6kg, surprising really considering I've been eating like food was going out of fashion. It's really amazing what the human body is capable of doing. I can feel this little bubba inside me moving all the time, as write this the little one has the hiccups, its an incredible feeling. Slightly uncomfortable sometimes but for the most part - AMAZING!!

My two boys seem like they are growing up too fast in this world. I remember when I was there age, things were very different then, very different. I think a lot of our childrens' innocence has been taken away over the years....I suppose we all have to evolve and technology has had a big part to play with that but sometimes I wish things were simpler. Maybe because I was brought up needing to make my own fun...not handed a DS to make fun. I suppose as a parent its up to me to monitor the activities I feel are worth them spending more time on and other that are not.

My thoughts for the week.

Regards,
S
